TRAINING INFO
All the details can be found on our training page, but we operate a drop-in program all year round at John Braithwaite Community Centre.
LOOKING FOR NON-COMPETITIVE
That's great not a problem! Our Thursday evening sessions are very casual and full of laughs – we look forward to meeting you!
WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
We welcome all volunteers and input from our members – thank you for volunteering! Get in touch with us and we will find something for you to do, gratefully!
NEVER PLAYED?
We welcome everyone to our training sessions. Come out on a Thursday evening and we’ll give you a buddy for the night who will go through the basics and get you involved in a game.
FITNESS LEVEL?
We try to mix things up a bit to keep it interesting for our regulars, but a session is usually made up of a warm-up followed by a couple of quick drills. We spend the majority of the session breaking out into casual games, changing around teams and positions every 10 minutes or so. For the last Thursday of the month, we run ‘Tournament Style’, meaning that we keep score and time – great practice for when tournament season comes around!
